Collective Worship

Collective worship is held daily in school and is delivered in different ways. Our Collective Worship Group plan and deliver worship and church services. We have weekly collective worship with our clergy. The children enjoy weekly Primary Picture News sessions and we have weekly sung worship too.

Our collective worship is invitational, inclusive and inspirational.

We invite everyone to pray and reflect together and enjoy Bible stories, poems, artworks, inspirational real-life stories, and stories from other faiths. Parents and carers are welcome to our worship and services and the children are encouraged to share with us the different ways they worship at home.

We regularly attend church services at St. Mary’s Church for Harvest, Christmas, Easter and the Leavers’ Service. We have a Remembrance Service at the Tysoe memorial each year. The children and their families are invited to join other services including a Crib Service and Candlemas.

The children enjoy attending the Christingle Service each year at Coventry Cathedral along with many other schools from across the diocese and always contribute readings or prayers to the service.

The Fosse Prayer

We take the safety and welfare of all our school communities very seriously.

The Fosse Multi Academy Trust and all of its schools are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
