All parents and carers are automatically members of our ‘Friends of Tysoe School’. A committee organises an annual programme of fund raising and social events and they appreciate any help volunteers can offer at the events.
In the past, FOTS have raised a huge amount of money annually to benefit the school including the mezzanine housing the reading space and library, the replacement of Computing equipment and resources throughout the school.
The committee meets regularly to agree, plan and organise events. The committee has a Chair, Secretary and Treasurer, who are elected members of our group. The rest of the group is made up from parent, carer and staff volunteers and anyone within the school community is welcome to attend and contribute.
We hold a number of annual events such as a Christmas Fair and a Summer Fair. We also run a number of adhoc events depending on ideas, diary space and availability of volunteers.
The FOTS also sells second hand uniform at events and at new parent and carer meetings.
